SUMMARY:ConnEcTEd-Webinar: Digital Transformation in Foreign Language Teacher Education. OERs and virtual formats in (international) teacher education
DESCRIPTION:Im ERASMUS+-finanzierten Projekt ConnEcTEd diskutieren Akteure der Lehrer*innenbildung an sieben europäischen Hochschulen\, darunter die PH Freiburg und die Albert-Ludwigs-Universität\, Ansätze zur Stärkung der Kohärenz in den lehrer*innenbildenden Studiengängen. In diesem Rahmen findet am 28. November ein Webinar statt\, dass sich mit Open Educational Resources und virtuellen oder hybriden Formaten der Lehre und der Studienorganisation befasst. \nNeben der kollaborativen Entwicklung von Lehrkonzepten im transnationalen Projektteam\, die den lokalen Studiengängen zugute kommenund zusätzlich als examples of good practice an andere lehrerbildende Hochschulen weitergegeben werden\, steht in dem Projekt die Internationalisierung über virtuelle Formate im Vordergrund. \nDiese gleichermaßen auf der inhaltlichen Ebene als Diskussionsthema und auf der Durchführungsebene im Diskussionsformat in den Blick zu nehmen\, ist das Ziel einer Reihe von ConnEcTEd-Webinaren. In diesen beschäftigen sich Expert*innen aus verschiedenen nationalen Kontexten zusammen mit interessierten Teilnehmer*innen mit aktuellen Fragen der Lehrerbildung\, beispielsweise den Möglichkeiten und Folgen der digitalen Transformation im Bildungssystem. \nDas zweite Webinar der Reihe wird organisiert von der Pädagogischen Hochschule Freiburg\, der Universität Freiburg und der Universität Zagreb und befasst sich insbesondere mit dem Potenzial von Open Educational Resources (OERs) und virtuellen oder hybriden Formaten der Lehre und der Studienorganisation. Oslo\, Norway)\n\n\n11:45-12:00\nClosing remarks\nOrganising committee\n\n\n\nAdditional information\nWhat is OER and why should I (re-use) it?\n(IvanaBosnić\, University of Zagreb\, Croatia)\nIn this talk\, we’ll go deeper into the idea and concept of OER and the real power of reusing fully open educational resources. We’ll discuss some technological challenges related to creating and managing OERs. We’ll also learn about the crucial role of open licences (mainly Creative Commons) for reusing open content and show how to license the content for reuse in a simple way. Finally\, we’ll introduce ourselves to an interesting open source format for interactive educational content called H5P\, as an exampleof OER creation and (re)use. \nWhile being around for two decades\, the use of Open Educational Resources exploded with the urgent move to emergency remote teaching during the major pandemic lockdown. However\, in many cases\, content considered as „OER“ is not really „open“ but „free“ at best. The main features of OER –reusing\, retaining\, revising\, remixing\, and redistributing – are often reduced to only the first two „Rs“\, with a simple download and unaltered use of resources. \neTwinning for Future Teachers: An innovative approach to international project-based learning\n(Anne Laaredj-Campbell & Laura Restrepo-Parrado\, KMK/PAD Germany)\nDuring their presentation\, two representatives of the Pedagogical Exchange Service will give aninsight into the goals\, contexts\, and current developments of the European Commission’s eTwinning initiative(s). They will discuss eTwinning in general as well as the specific programme eTwinning in Teacher Education and the new European School Education platform (ESEP). Afterwards\, there will be time for questions and exchange of ideas. Doetjes\, University of Oslo\, Norway)\nGerard Doetjes\, Director of Studies in Teacher Education at the University of Oslo\, will address potentials and formats of flexibilisation of study structures through digital transformation processes in his talk. Afterwards\, there will be some time for questions and exchange.
